Connections Recovery Support Groups
Regain your voice within a compassionate setting and start your recovery process.
NAMI Connection Recovery Support groups are for people living with mental illness in which people learn from each others’ experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.
What to expect?
When you attend one of our Connections recovery Support Groups, you will find that you are not alone. People who have been through, or are going through similar circumstances can do more than sympathize with you – they can relate to what you are going through.
Our support group meetings are a great place to find practical tips and resources to help guide you in your recovery.
Our support groups provide a safe, caring, and understanding environment that can help participants regain lives once lost.
In addition, our Connections Support Groups will often encourage participants to seek out professional treatment for the first time or persuade others to take a more active role in their existing treatment plan. Lastly, making connections and witnessing the success of others provides a roadmap of hope for those impacted by mental illness. In NAMI Support Groups, we encourage members to never give up hope! We’ve been there and we can help.

Connections Support Group meetings are free, confidential, and open to individuals affected by mental illness. Please register to attend one of our support groups.

Tuesdays at 7 pm - Faith-Based Online Grief Support Group
(previously known as St. John's Downtown Mental Health Connection Support Group)
In person Connections Support Groups
Wednesdays at 7 pm - PEERS for Hope House Connections Support Group,
Located at 5518 Jackson St. Houston, TX 77004. Please sign in when you arrive to the support group.
